Xscape, the all-female R&B group founded in 1992, including Kandi Burruss, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, LaTocha Scott and Tamika Scott, has sold over 30 million records. Xscape is best known for records like “Just Kickin’ It” and “Understanding.” Jermaine Dupri discovered the group and signed the quartet to So So Def. They released their debut album titled Hummin’ Comin’ At Cha in 1993, which went platinum. Off The Hook also went platinum after its release in 1995. The album had gold-certified records like “Feels So Good” and “Who Can I Run To.” Their final album, Traces Of My Lipstick, was released in 1998. The album went certified platinum with the leading hit single titled “The Arms of the One Who Loves You.”

Brian McKnight has earned a place in music history selling over 25 million albums worldwide and charting numerous hits across many genres. In addition to being a singer, songwriter and producer, McKnight is a multi-instrumentalist who plays nine instruments including piano, guitar, bass, drums, trombone, tuba, french horn and trumpet. In an industry known for its constant revolving door, McKnight has established himself with an enviable record of chart and touring consistency for over two decades. During that span, Brian has collaborated with superstar artists including Quincy Jones, Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, Diddy, Christina Aguilera, Rascal Flatts, Nelly, Vanessa Williams, Willie Nelson and Kenny G.

El DeBarge, known for his signature falsetto, was the lead singer of the ’80s R&B sibling group DeBarge throughout their career, appearing on the hits “All This Love,” “Love Me in a Special Way,” “Who’s Holding Donna Now,” and “Rhythm of the Night.” After leaving the group in 1985, he launched his solo career in 1986 with a self-titled debut album that featured the number three hit “Who’s Johnny?,” featured in the film Short Circuit.

112 founded by group member Michael Keith and groomed by Sean “Puffy” Combs, Atlanta-based group 112, had a meteoric rise that solidified them as the hottest R&B group of their time. Their debut, album “112” (1996) went double Platinum and gave us hit records like “Cupid” and “Only You”, which featured memorable features from the late, great Notorious B.I.G while also introducing us to then newcomer on the scene, and Bad Boy label mate, Mase. Proving that lightning can in fact be caught in the bottle, the group quickly followed up their debut with yet another double Platinum offering. “Room 112” dropped just two years later and featured records like “Come See Me” and “Anywhere”

SILK is best known for their hit singles, “Freak Me” which reached number-one on the US Billboard Hot 100, and “Happy Days” from their debut album, Lose Control. Another hit from Lose Control, “Girl U For Me”, helped the album reach double platinum status. They later had success with singles such as “I Can Go Deep”, “Hooked on You”, “Don’t Rush”, “If You” (released February 23, 1999) “Meeting in My Bedroom”, and “We’re Calling You”. In 1994, Silk won Album Of The Year for Lose Control at the Soul Train Music Awards.

H-Town in 1992 the evolution of Rhythm and Blues was altered significantly for the world of music connoisseurs’ and millions of fans. H-Town, The Legendary Icons of R&B proudly debuted a sound synonymous with universal acclaim, skillfully rocketed several hit singles to chart-topping success, humbly acquired the longevity of mass audience appeal and righteously maintained a powerful presence on the spectra of performance entertainment and have been firmly grounded in the spotlight for nearly two decades.
